Call for Abstracts for a poster or talk
We are pleased to invite abstract submissions for a 10-minute quick talk or poster abstracts to be presented at the Graduate Women in Science National Conference. We welcome submissions, research or expository, from any field. We welcome posters from all fields. Please note that you must register for the conference by June 1st to present a poster or give a talk. You will be notified by June 15th of acceptance. This year’s conference will only allow in-person posters and quick talk presentations. There is no virtual option to present. Saturday events will be live-streamed, but the conference will not be a virtual/hybrid event.

Abstract Submission Guidelines 
Abstract submission for the 2022 National GWIS Conference will open on March 15th and close on June 1st. Beginning on March 15th, please submit your text abstract of 500 words or less. Please include a title, list of authors, and affiliations (not included in the word count). Please do not include any images. The submission form is included in the registration form. Please indicate on that form if you would like to be considered for a poster, talk, or either. Abstracts are due by Wednesday, June 1st.

Poster Presentations  
Poster presentations will be held from 9-10:30 am the morning of the conference. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to come around, view your poster and interact with you. In addition, your poster and poster explanation will be featured virtually. There is a chance for an award for the top posters. 

Quick Talk Presentation  
A quick talk is a 10 min talk with 3 mins of questions. Conference attendees can attend the quick talk series to see the amazing science featured. There will be an award for the top presentations.
